After losing his arm in combat, Yan returned to serve with the “Angels,” a unit in Ukraine’s Third Assault Brigade. They help wounded soldiers rebuild their lives and ensure fallen comrades comes home. Drawing on his own experience, Yan now supports others through recovery and shows that even after loss, there can be new beginnings.
When a soldier is killed in the front in Ukraine, the “Angels” ensure that the final journey home takes place with dignity. In July, Fritt Ukraina delivered its second freezer truck to the unit. A vehicle that secures safe transport over long distances and in challenging conditions.

Two powerful outboard engines have now been delivered by Fritt Ukraina for a new boat project. The initiative is a collaboration between Veterans Aid Ukraine, PBO Boats, and Fritt Ukraina, where Ukrainian veterans build boats for military use.
