Two powerful outboard engines have now been delivered by Fritt Ukraina for a new boat project. The initiative is a collaboration between Veterans Aid Ukraine, PBO Boats, and Fritt Ukraina, where Ukrainian veterans build boats for military use.
When the war broke out, Volodymyr Cherniuk (19) was rejected by the Ukrainian Armed Forces because of his age. Three years later, he is now heading Iron Cluster, a tech hub of over 70 companies developing autonomous defense systems. Today, he is also partnering with Fritt Ukraina.

Ukrainian company XX Systems has produced over 370 FPV drones for the frontline in Ukraine. The production and delivery have been financed with support from Norwegian donors. The drones are manufactured in Ukraine and delivered directly to the front.
Fritt Ukraina is now delivering one hundred drones to Ukraine’s Third Assault Brigade. The total value of the delivery is five million NOK, and the effort has been named Operation Kvarv. Half of the funding comes from the family-owned company Kvarv, based on the island of Frøya in Trøndelag, Norway.
